Terms of Use and Policy (about data hashing)

Every user of the service must comply with our terms of use and policy.

Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that websites place on each browser. They are processed and stored only by your browser. They are harmless to you and your computer. They are used to provide useful and essential services. Every new visitor to our website sees a message at the bottom informing them that some cookies are stored (for 14 days those created by our website), which are necessary for its operation. Also, by checking the checkmark, all possible cookies we may use are stored. That is, in addition to the necessary ones, we may use cookies for advertising purposes, retargeting, and statistics. These cookies may come from tools like Facebook pixel, Twitter tag, Google Analytics. At the end of this page, you can choose whether you want these to be used or not. You can change your selection at any time and delete these cookies that activate these tools. Finally, you can delete all cookies stored in your browser by clearing your history from your browser settings.

Responsibilities

Use of the service is at your own risk. We bear no responsibility for any loss of ONE coins, we bear no responsibility for what data you hash, and we bear no responsibility for data loss due to server failures or for any other reason. Besides this, we regularly back up the database. In the event of a server failure, the service will be operational again very quickly, and data will not be lost (as far as possible). Furthermore, we bear no responsibility for issues on the Harmony Network or problems related to Metamask.

Privacy Policy

We need your email (to communicate), your name, your surname or your brandname if you want to use the hash data service. We guarantee that your email and all other personal information will be kept strictly confidential and will never be shared with third parties for advertising or any other purpose. Your data is securely stored on our servers. Please ensure that any data you hash is public, as the hashed data will be accessible to anyone possessing the hash.

Hash Data

To use this service, you will need to contact us to be granted the appropriate permissions (we need your wallet address, your first and last name or your brand name and your email which we will use to communicate with you). It is at our discretion whether we choose to give you the ability to use the service or not. It is also at our discretion to remove your ability to use the service if we realize that your use is causing us problems in any way. You use the service with a subscription for as long as you wish (to find out the cost of the subscription you will need to contact us and discuss your needs). Important: You enter public data, as it will be accessible by everyone (you are not allowed to enter data in a way that violates the GDPR). The steps are as follows: you connect your wallet (Metamask), enter some text data, create a local hash, and then make a transaction on the Harmony Blockchain (the cost of the transaction is very small and only covers Harmony Network fees). Upon transaction verification, the hash of your data is stored on the Blockchain and, of course, in our database. You can use the URL we provide or the QR code to retrieve the data (which is stored in our database). If for any reason you stop paying your subscription, you will no longer be able to use our service, nor will your data retrieval be functional. If for some reason a transaction does not complete, you will need to slightly change your text and create a new local hash, then make a new transaction. On the data retrieval page, all that is needed is the data's hash. When viewing the data, your name and the transaction hash on the Harmony Blockchain are also displayed. In your text, please make sure to enter letters, numbers, spaces, and common punctuation marks such as !@#$%^&*()-_+=[]{}|;:'",.<>/?). Nothing else is permitted. If you purchase our service and wish to cancel before using it, we will refund your money within thirty days. No refunds will be issued once the service has been used. In cases where a refund is provided, some charges may apply. If your transaction was successful but your data didn't save to our database (for reasons not due to your misuse), and you didn't get the URL or QR code to retrieve it, please contact us. We'll refund your transaction costs so you can complete the process again.

Hash to Data Lookup

On this page the users have to enter the hash of the data. The output will be the data, the name of the person or the organization that hashed the data and the transaction hash.

Generate a hash from a file

It is not possible to store the file in our database. Instead, you can select the file you wish to use and click the "Generate Hash" button. Then, take the generated hash and enter it in the appropriate field above to store it, along with a hash of that hash. You may also provide a URL where the file can be accessed, so that others can verify the file produces the same hash you saved.

When are your Hashes deleted?

The hashes remain in our database forever. They are only deleted if you want to stop using the service. They are also deleted if we decide to discontinue our cooperation with you (this may happen if we judge that your use is intended to harm us).
